چکیده

To investigate the effects of angiotensin converting enzyme 2 and genes on cardiac remodeling process in heart failure rats. 38 rats were randomly divided into sham-operated group (S group), (H group) exercise (HE group). An incremental load test was used to determine maximum running speed HE group, while S H groups maintained their daily activities. The structure function pathological changes compared. Compared with body weight, left ventricular internal diameter at diastole, fractional shortening, ejection fraction, myocytes enzyme/ ratio decreased mass index, anterior wall systole, posterior atrial natriuretic factor, angiotensin-I, angiotensin-II, messenger RNA enzyme, 2, transforming growth factor beta protein levels collagen fibers (i.e. volume fraction) increased (p<0.05). reduced enzyme/angiotensin Long-term aerobic attenuated myocardial fibrosis improved by inhibiting synthesis promoting its degradation inhibited a mechanism that may be related partial restoration 2/angiotensin signalling function.

The effect of progressive aerobic continuous training on angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin-converting enzyme type 2 in patients with heart failure

Background: Chronic hypertension causes structural and functional changes in the heart, ultimately leading to heart failure (HF), which further increases mortality and morbidit. HF is a complex clinical syndrome caused by various structural or functional abnormalities of the heart that impair the filling capacity of the ventricles. The findings of various trials have shown the association betwe...

Serum Angiotensin Converting Enzyme in Patients with Psoriasis

Background: Controversial data concerning the elevation of serum angiotensin-converting enzyme in psoriasis are reported in the literature. In order to verify whether this abnormality exists in Iranian patients, we performed this study. Method: Serum angiotensin-converting enzyme level was measured in 40 psoriatics. According to clinical forms of psoriasis, patients were further divided into th...

Effects of spironolactone and eprosartan on cardiac remodeling and angiotensin-converting enzyme isoforms in rats with experimental heart failure.

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE)-2 is a newly described enzyme with antagonistic effects to those of the classical ACE (ACE-1). Both ANG II and aldosterone play an important role in the pathophysiology of congestive heart failure (CHF) and in the adverse cardiac remodeling during its development. In this study, we examined the effects of experimental CHF induced by an aortocaval fistula (ACF...
